He met and married the love of his life, Beverly Jean Olsen, in Franklin, ID on May 21, 1952. They had 4 children.
Wes started his own Auto salvage, AAA Auto and had many other adventures along the way. He lived for his family and his grandkids were the light of his life.
He was a man who helped anyone that needed it. In his spare time he could always be found at his cabin. He will be remembered for his kindness and his funny stories.
Wes is survived by his daughter; Jalene Ward, his son; Terry ward, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Wes is preceded in death by his wife; Beverly, sons, Kim and Troy; and his parents.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM with services starting at 11:00 AM at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT.
Interment at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
