William H. Harrison Sr., 77, of 101 Craig St., Rochester Township, died Thursday, April 7, 1983, in the Medical Center of Beaver County.
Born May 20, 1905, in Sunnyside, Pa., son of the late Matthew and Rebecca Robbins Harrison, he was a retired millwright, St. Joe Minerals Corp., Potter Township; a member of Union Lodge 259, F&AM, New Brighton, and New Castle Consistory.
Surviving are his wife, Levina Firestone Harrison; three sons, Donald M., Monaca; Vernon C., Pulaski Township, and R. Lee, Daugherty Township; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Holsinger, Pulaski Township; 11 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; four brothers,
Glasper (Taft), Vermillion, Ohio; Clyde, Rices Landing, Pa.; Thomas, Carmichaels, Pa., and George, Washington, Pa., and four sisters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Hegadore, Perryopolis, Pa.; Mrs. S. Rayfield (Eleanor) Rich, Carmichaels, Pa.; Mrs. Harry (Polly)
Sliger, Elkhart, and., and Mrs. Joseph (Virginia) Burich, Mather, Pa. He was preceded in death by a son, William H. Jr. in 1981, and a sister, Miss Agnes Harrison.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIAM A. MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 349 Adams St., Rochester, where a service will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Frank Bodnar, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Rochester.
Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.
