It appears she may have gone first before the war effort and before joining the US Army Nurse Corps. She is recognized as a WWI Nurse from MA that died in the war in "Soldiers of The Great War" Vol. 2. No specific death or burial location is given nor is she listed in the Armed Forces Burial and Grave locator indexes. The nurses were very hard hit in 1919 so I use this date to honor this heroic woman.
