Frances (Barnes) Eves (nee Eagle), 89, of Mason, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Eves, Sr. (former Mayor of Mason) and the late Elery 'Dude' Barnes.

Frances is pre-deceased by her parents; Henry and Mae Eagle, husbands; Louis J. Eves, Sr. and Elery Barnes, son; David Eves and 7 brothers and sisters.

She is the devoted mother of Michael Eves, Louis J. (Debbie) Eves, Jr. and Kathy Eves, loving grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 7, dear sister of Wanda Sutton and Jerry Eagle.

Frances and her husband, Lou Eves, were the owners of the Houstan Inn Restaurant in Mason for many years, where the family still runs the business today. She loved her God. She was a faith filled follower of Jesus Christ. She worked hard to take care of her family and make the restaurant a big success.

Visitation will be at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of Service at 12:30 PM. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
