Caroline S. Beach was born in Hanover, 1842, the daughter of Michael Beach and Harriet Simpson.
She married in Norwell, 8 Sept. 1867, John Angier Pierce. Her husband John Angier Pierce was described in records as the "mulatto" son of Angier Pierce (a white man from Swansea, Rehoboth and Taunton, Mass.) and Susan Boston (a woman with African and Native American ancestry from Swansea and Rehoboth, Mass.).
She died in Norwell, 10 Sept. 1874.
Following Caroline's death, her widowed husband John Angier Pierce moved into the home in Carver, Mass. of his sister Mary Elizabeth Macy (Pierce) Thomas, where he died the following year on 19 January 1875.
They had the following children:
William Angier Pierce, b. Norwell Nov. 1867.
Martha A. Pierce, b. Hanover 24 Dec. 1869.
Carrie Frances Pierce, b. Hanover 1 June 1873, d. Norwell 9 June 1874.
