Tyler John Anderson, son of John Edward Anderson, Jr. and Madge Fuller Anderson was born March 27, 1956 in Salt lake City, Utah. He passed away Monday, July 10, 2017, at age 61, in Salt Lake City.

Tyler grew up in Magna, Utah. He was an active, energetic kid, played on baseball and football teams and like being with his friends.

The family moved to Centerville, then Bountiful, Utah graduating from Viewmont High School. He served a mission for the Lord in Sacramento, CA., and later worked as a custodian for many years.

Tyler enjoyed watching sports on TV, keeping up with current events, studying the scriptures, reading, writing, listening to music. He loved Christmas, family, giving gifts, remembering birthdays and holidays, sending cards and serving others. He loved his mother and was devoted to her care, spending many hours daily attending to her needs.

Tyler had many ups and downs in his life, but held on to his faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and remained prayerful. He was a great example of trying to overcome adversity.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Madge Anderson; brother, Kirk (Linda); sister, Randee Robles (Brent); brother Terry (Tracy); 9 nieces and nephews and 17 great-nieces and nephews. He was always mindful of his aunts, uncles, cousins as well as friends and co-workers.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.
