Elsie Beckert Fuhriman, 100, dear mother, passed away 7Jul 2017 of natural causes. She was born 3 Jan 1917 a daughter of Ernest Richard and Elsa Weber Beckert in Providence, Utah. She married Keith Fuhriman 29 Jul 1936 in the Logan LDS Temple.He passed away 12 Sep 1975. Together they had five children.

She was an accomplished homemaker and wonderful cook. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, working in her yard, crocheting, and embroidery. She volunteered many hours helping the Blind Association where she made many friends. She also bowled on a league with the Ben Lomond Belles for 60 years. Most of all, she loved being with her family.

She was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many callings over the years, one of which was teaching the 11-year-old Blazer Scouts for over 20 years. She also served as Ward Librarian for an additional 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and all seven of her brothers and sisters.
