Sandra Deane Fowler, 72, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at her home. She was born on May 26, 1945, to the late William Carl Deane and Lavinia Fenton Eddins Deane.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. "Chip" Fowler, Jr; two brothers, George Deane and Kenneth Deane; and one sister, Harriet D. DeJarnette.
Sandra was a member of Rose Park United Methodist Church and active in the UMC Women's group.
She is survived by her son, Ralph "Deane" H. Fowler, III and his former wife, Linda; sisters-in-law, Georganna Gibbs Suggs of Goochland,Mary Fowler of Boca Raton, Fla., Cheryl Deane of Madison, and Diane Deane of Greene County; grandchildren, Ralph H. Fowler, IV and girlfriend, Elisa Hawley, Michael P. Fowler and wife, Lexi, Lori Lynn Fowler all of Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with interment in Rose Park Cemetery. Pastor Dan Albrant will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contribution may be made to the Madison Volunteer Fire Company, P.O.
