Survivors include his mother, Media McGarrah and Richard of Garfield; his father, Linus Shockley of Sweet Home, Ore; one son, John Robert Shockley II of Garfield; three bothers, Linus Shockley Jr., Chris Stidam and Monty Stidam, all of Garfield; maternal grandparents, Rev.
