FORT WORTH -- Edwin Lee Young, 87, died Wednesday July 12, 2017.
Ed Young was born in San Antonio to Tommy and Flora Coleman Young.
He grew up in San Antonio, graduated from Abilene Christian College in 1952, and served in the Air Force before moving to Fort Worth where he spent his career in banking at the Continental National Bank. Ed was a man truly devoted to his family and his church. He was a member and Elder of Southside Church of Christ and served in the food pantry ministry for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Carolyn Young.
SURVIVORS: His son, Kelly Young, and wife, JoAnn; his daughter, Shelly Young; and his granddaughters, Sarah, Rebekah and Elizabeth; and his sister, Iris Fisher.
