Eminence, Ky., Jan. 30. --- Lewis E. Morris, 78, retired merchant at Sulphur, died Wednesday night at his home.

Survivors include on sister, Mrs. Mary M. Peak, Washington, D. C.; two brothers, Ben F. Morris and Dr. Charles Morris, both of Louisville, and two grandchildren.

Lewis E. Morris, 78, retired merchant of Sulphur, died Wednesday night at his home after suffering a heart attack. He had been in ill health for about six years. He was a native of Henry County, a son of the late Abner and Mollie Burton Morris.

Survivors include a sister: Mrs. Mary Peak, Washington, D.C.; two brothers: Ben F. Morris and Dr. Charlie Morris, Louisville; two grandchildren: Mrs. Mrs. Richard Jaehnigan and Mr. Jimmy Morris, Sulphur and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 3:15 p.m. Friday at the Sulphur Baptist Church where he was a member. Rev. Joe Hall officiated. Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.
