Bernice Jenkins, 93, passed away July 7, 2017, in Phoenix. She was born September 23, 1923 in O'Neill, Nebraska, the daughter of George H. Jones and Elizabeth Jones (nee Reimer). She was united in marriage to Robert G Jenkins on November 10, 1942 and was married for 72 years until his death in 2015.

With her husband, Bernice owned dry-cleaning plants in North Platte, Nebraska and Springfield, Missouri. She was also a successful realtor in Springfield.

Bernice is survived by her sons, Robert and William and her daughters Linda, Gloria and Diane. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Glen, her parents, two sisters and two brothers. She is the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A service was held at the National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 North Cave Creek Road in Phoenix where she was buried alongside her husband.
