Katherine E. Thornton, 91, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at Bayshore Commons in Orchard Villa. She was born on February 5, 1910, in Forest City, PA, to Stephen and Wilma (Kuceman) Jablonsky. She was the widow of Virgil who preceded her in death in 1988. Katherine was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and employed as an inspector for Libbey Owens Ford, retiring in 1972.
Katherine is survived by her sister, Margaret Gustwiller and nephew, Kenneth (Sandy) Gustwiller; sisters-in-law, Anna and Marie Jablonsky. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Steven, John, Joseph and Vincent.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 22, 2001, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10:30 a.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd.
