Dennis Roger Craig, age 68, of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Mr. Craig served his country in the Army and did 2 tours in Vietnam. After serving in the Army he was a Deputy Sheriff in Richland County, South Carolina. He was retired from the Department of Justice, DEA with 25+ years. Mr. Craig started the Criminal Justice Program at Etowah and Cherokee High Schools before retiring from teaching. He loved his family, God, serving others and his beloved wife of 40 years.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 9:00 AM, on Monday, July 17, 2017, from the Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 16, 2017, at South Canton Funeral Home.

Preceded in death by: Father: Jason Roger Craig,
Mother and Father-In-Law: Rolland G. Hull and Shirley M. Hull

Survivors include:
Wife - Debbie Craig, Canton
Son - Rolland (Nina) Craig, Fishers, IN
Daughter - DeAnne (Kyle) O'Bryan, Acworth
Sister - Rachel Craig
Brother - Charles (Sonya) Craig, Union, SC
Mother - Decie Craig, Union, SC
Grandchildren: Mallory, Skylar, Maggie, Christopher, Malayna and Kaitlyn
