Steven went to culinary school and was employed as a chef.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shalonda Horton.
Steven is survived by his parents, Ross and Tammy Horton, siblings; Anthony, Malinda, Anastasia, Terrance, Jessie, Savanna, Cody, Stephan, T.J. Emmy. He is also survived by his grandparents, Gary Horton, Sally (Jim) Stewart, Tom (Kathy) Stalker, and Robert Darbyshire. He is also survived by Amy Ramirez.
