Thomas F. Stroik, age 76, of Waupaca, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017, at Theda Care Medical Center-Waupaca. He was born in Amherst, WI, on February 13, 1941, a son of the late Frank and Agnes (Loftis) Stroik.
Tom married Kathy Bremmer on June 25, 1966 in the Town of Lanark, Portage Co., WI. He served in the U.S. Army. Tom worked for many years at the Waupaca Foundry. Most recently he was working for the Waupaca Parks and Recreation Department. Tom loved gardening, being outdoors, his cat - Winnie and his Parks and Recreation family. He may have been little, but he was fierce, especially in his love for his family.
Survivors include his Wife: Kathy Stroik, Waupaca, WI; Daughters: Connie Kallevig, Sherwood, WI; Robyn (Scott) Bailey, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Brenna Kallevig; Alissa Kallevig; Jordan Kallevig; Connor Bailey; Dawson Bailey and Avery Bailey; Sisters: Rita Plowman, Port Edwards, WI; Edith (Chuck) Quimby, Appleton, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 6 PM on Monday, July 17th, 2017, with Reverend Jeff Casper, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Amherst, WI. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 3 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
