Charles, the patriarch of the Cantonwine family, immigrated to America from Prussia in 1806, arriving in Philadelphia, Penn., aboard the ship Orlando. The ship's passenger list shows Chr. Kuntentwine, single man. Eight or so years later, Charles married Mary (surname unknown) in about 1814 in Bedford county, Pennsylvania.
Margaret married Clyde Dale Gray on March 30, 1935 in Penrose, Fremont county, Colorado. They had one daughter. Margaret died in 1989 at the age of 80. Clyde died in 2000, age 92. They are buried in Nogales, Santa Cruz Co., AZ.

Margaret Edith Gray, 80, of Tubac [Santa Cruz Co., AZ], and formerly of Colorado, died June 15, 1989. A resident of Tubac for 12 years, she is survived by her husband, Clyde; daughter Carolyn Ann Howell of California; sister Kathryn Gunder of Colorado; brothers Howard Lamb and John Lamb of Colorado, and Bruce Lamb of New Mexico; and two grandchildren. She was a member of the Tubac Country Club, Tubac Historical Society, St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 200 Country Club Dr., Nogales, AZ PEO. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 22, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church with Fr. K.E. Gustafson officiating. Inurnment at St. Andrews. Arrangements were handled by Green Valley Mortuary and Memorial Gardens.
