Funeral services for Walter H. Perry, 60, who lived in Brownstown until he joined the U.S. Army during World War II, were conducted Wednesday in Sandusky, OH. Local survivors attending the funeral were Mrs. Fred Schleter, Mr. Perry's sister, and Mr. Schleter, both of Brownstown.
Mr. Perry died Sunday at his home in Sandusky.
He was born November 6, 1916, in Brownstown, to the late Walter L. and Nellie Hill Perry. He was a machinist for the Scott Paper Company in Sandusky.
Mr. Perry was the nephew of Edwin Hill and Mrs. Ruth Sutherland, both of Seymour.
Other survivors are a son; three daughters; a brother, Fred Perry, of Batesville; another sister, Mrs. William C. Baker, of Kansas City, MO; and seven grandchildren.

Walter H. "Peck" Perry, 60, of Sandusky, OH, died at his home December 12. He had been a resident of Brownstown until he joined the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors are a son; three daughters; a brother, Fred Perry, of Batesville; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Schleter, of Brownstown, and Mrs. William C. Baker, of Kansas City, MO; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Perry was born November 6, 1916, in Brownstown, to the late Walter L. and Nellie Hill Perry. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas, and an infant sister, Anita Catherine.
