BLACKVILLE -- Funeral services for Florence Ella Axson Hartzog, 86, will be held three p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2007, at Double Pond Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Edmonds officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 18, 2007, from five until seven-thirty p.m. at Folk Funeral Home, Williston. Mrs. Hartzog died Thursday, August 16, 2007.
Born in Norway, SC, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lizzie Staten Axson. She was married to the late Manzie Leroy Hartzog, was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Denmark.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Edna Esterling, Annie Lou Hodge, Bertha Summers, Lether Axson, Janie Axson; brothers, Marion, James, Leslie, Robert and John Axson.
