Jacqueline "Jackie" Angela Young, 45 of Harrison, Arkansas, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at home, surrounded by her family.
The daughter of James Arthur and Joy Ann (Smith) McKnight was born September 6, 1971 at Clinton, Arkansas.
Jackie moved to Harrison a little over a year ago from Bee Branch where she was a long time resident of Van Buren County. She enjoyed dancing, shopping in thrift stores and being outdoors, especially farming, four wheeling and hiking, but her greatest enjoyment came from being a wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her father, James McKnight, two brothers, Jim and Jeff McKnight and her grandparents, H.V. and Lucille Smith and Earl and Gladys McKnight.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Duane Edward Young; her mother, Joy McKnight; three daughters, Shanna Treat, Shelby Treat and Chloe Treat; step-son, Cody Young; a brother, Jack McKnight and wife Rebel; two sisters, JoAnne McKnight Pollack and Jill McKnight Boeckmann and husband Paul; father-in-law, Ed Young; mother-in-law, Joie Gibbins; two sisters-in-law, Gina Blackwell and husband Joel and Sandy Wright and husband Tony; 14 nieces and nephews, Brittany, Alissa, Kristin, Don, Jonathon, Austin, Aimee, Ryan, Cody, Matt, Sam, Wesley, Christi and Matthew and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Bro. Bobby Young and Bro. Nathan Daniels officiating.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Jim and Denise Kimes, Billy Joe and Dena Roberts, Bobby Young, Nathan Daniels, Chris and Linda Casey, Arkansas Highway Department District 9, Hospice of Mtn. Home, especially nurse Dennise Carranza, Washington Regional Medical Center, Highland Oncology of Fayetteville, Julie Tobey, Mackenzie Prislovsky, Mikayla Ragland and Mason Ragland.

In God's infinite wisdom, there are people born on this earth that are special from their very first breath. Jackie was one of those people. The impact she had on so many lives makes it all the more difficult to let her go. As everyone works through the grief of losing her, we can only pray that God gives us strength and comfort through the beautiful memories and the immeasurable love we all felt for Jackie.
