Jack Martin Kinney of Medina died Friday, June 23, 2017. He was born January 31, 1931, to Ethel (Martin) and Cline Kinney in Greenup County, Kentucky.

He graduated from Ohio University in 1953 and served in the United States Army 11th Airborne Division from 1953-1955. In 1957, he graduated from The Ohio State University College of Law. He married Patricia Rauch in Columbus, Ohio in 1959. After he worked as an FBI Agent in Alabama and Florida, the family moved to Medina in 1962. He practiced law in Medina until 1996, serving as City Law Director for almost 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sisters, Wanda Burwell and Mary Swiger and brother-in-law, Dick Burwell.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Kinney and Sarah Kuehn; grandchildren, Kyle, Ian, Dana and Trevor Kuehn; brother-in-law, Andre Swiger and numerous nieces and nephews.
