Linda Gleason Sears, 71 years of age, of Cincinnati, Ohio, departed this life on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.

Linda was born in Burnside, Kentucky on March 16th, 1946, daughter of the late James Edward Gleason and Audrey Gladys Sullivan Gleason. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, sewing, and perhaps her greatest joy was being a grandma and great-grandma.

Linda was survived by her loving husband, Lemuel Sears, whom she married on August 23rd, 1973; one son, Dwayne Sears; two daughters, Karen L. Baker and Alexis Thall; two brothers;,Randall Steve "Meanie" Gleason and Ronald Thomas "Goodie" Gleason; two sisters, Lania Sue Bowling and Levia Ette Spears; four grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Baker, Justin (and Holly Renea') Baker, Brittany Baker, and Courtney Paige King; three great-grandchildren, Justin Lewis Baker Jr., McKenzie Rose Baker, and Kenara King; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Gleason and Audrey Gladys Gleason, who departed this life on August 30th, 2007; and three brothers, Larry Edward Gleason, Roger Dale Gleason. and Jimmy Allen Gleason.

Visitations were held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Frye Officiating.

Burial followed in the Grave Hill Cemetery.
