Cathy L. George, 52, R.R. 1 Box 1780, Springville, died at 3:58 a.m. Wednesday at Monroe Hospital in Bloomington. Born August 2, 1954, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Maxwell Gene and Shirley Maxine (Briner) Holmes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Christian Church. Survivors include her mother, Shirley of Springville; two sons: Andrew George of Springville and Deric George and wife Michelle of Owensburg; one daughter, Sarah Kindred of Springville; seven grandchildren: Jordan and Brandon Breedlove, Tallen, Trenten and Spencer George, Michael Kindred and Alexis (Ali) Harper; one brother, Terry G. Holmes of Springville; three sisters: Karen Beasley of Owensburg, Rhonda Bell and husband Charley of Springville and Molly Ratliff of Bedford, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Bethel Christian Church with Rev. David Self officiating. Burial will follow in the Dishman Cemetery in Greene County.
