Pauline C. Long, 107, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 in a local healthcare facility, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was a very devout member of the New Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church and taught the Primary Boys and Girls Sunday School Class and was the Sunday School Song Leader for over 60 years and also was the Devotional Leader for The Virtuous Women’s Ministry before her health prevented her from doing so at the golden age of 100. She was also a member of the BME Women’s District Association. In 1975, she retired from First Baptist Church Golden Gateway.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; beloved son, Arthur Domineck Sr.; and grandson, Rev. A.L. Domineck.

Survivors include her grandsons, Arthur (Karen) Domineck of Fairfield, Calif., Calvin Ray (Faye) Maddox of Knoxville, Tenn., and Eric (Donnell) Domineck of Pikesville, Md.; granddaughters, Rhonda Jones, Minister Dorothy (Willie) Graves, and Pat (Tim) White, all of Chattanooga; daughter-in-law, Delores Domineck; sister-in-law, Opal Collier both of Chattanooga; nieces, and nephews, Louise Austin, Timothy Coffield, and Joann Coffield, Sharon Collier, all of Atlanta, Ga. and Juanita Collier of Chattanooga, Reginald Collier of Louisville, Ky.; several other nieces and nephews; and a host of great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; great-great-great-grandchildren; adopted grandchildren, Rev. and Sis Floyd Humphrey, Emma Andrews, Norma Jean Hughley, and Margie Neville; a host of other family members and friends including her church family; special friend, Ms. Ann Burney; and staff at NHC HealthCare.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday at noon at New Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Terrance Hannah as the eulogist. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
