Dennis James Hawkins, age 62 of Togo, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Essentia-St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. He was born November 2, 1954 in Virginia, the son of Albert Duane “Hap” and Carol (Wozniak) Hawkins, and was a graduate of Cherry High School, class of 1973.
Dennis has lived in Elko, NV, Alaska, Eagan, and Forbes prior to moving to Togo. He was employed as a welder and a maintenance mechanic. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and cars.
Dennis is survived by his mother: Carol Hawkins; brothers: Peter (Suki), and Scott (DeRae); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hap Hawkins.
Burial in the Cherry Cemetery.
