Roxanne Davis, 55, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at The University of Iowa hospital in Iowa City.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday, July 12th at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 am, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery.
Roxanne was born June 7, 1962 in Des Moines to Raymond W. and Betty Ann Davis.
Survivors include her children: Hayley Davis of Colorado, Selena Davis, Riqo Davis and Alajandro Davis of Des Moines; granddaughter, Marley Lyn Davis; siblings: Darrell (Sharon) Davis, William Davis, Dennis (Shirley) Davis, Steven Davis, Starla (Menvil) Hites, Pennie Cleghorn, Shelly McConnell; many nieces and nephews.
Roxanne was preceded in death by father, Raymond; mother, Betty Shinn.
Roxanne was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She valued time with family and was always there to lend a hand. She enjoyed spending her time bowling, fishing, and singing karaoke. She was a very independent, hard working woman.
