OBITUARY - EMMA LOUISA SYNSTAD
Emma Louisa Synstad (age 97) went home to be with her maker on June 17, 2017 in Spokane, WA.
She was born September 22, 1919 in Gary, South Dakota.
Emma was a longtime resident of the Wedgwood District and was retired from Skyway Luggage. She leaves behind Brother - Oscar Stangeland; Daughter - Marlene Speidel; Son - Robert Synstad (Sandra); two grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Harold A, dear friend and companion of 25 years Lou Blanchard, Son-in-law David Speidel, 2 grandchildren Randy Lauer and Deborah Sproul, sisters Florence Maxinoski and Eleanore Primmer, Brothers Buck, Newt, Freddie, Bob, Bud, George and Donnie Stangeland.
Emma, known as "Goose" by family and friends, was the most loving and caring person anyone could know. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 12, at Evergreen-Washelli Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Union Gospel Mission or the charity of your choice.
