Foy, Joseph Francis Sr. Resident of Greenfield, WI and Sun City, AZ. Died November 7, 2011, in Greenfield, WI. Born October 29, 1925, in Chicago, IL to Edward and Anastasia Foy. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Fisher) since June 12, 1948. Loving father of Mary (Clifford) Nelson, Therese (Richard) Kimberly, Joseph F. Foy Jr. (Sharon), Margaret (George) Hofmann, Patrick (Linda) Foy, Michael Foy, Peter (Lezlee) Foy, Timothy Foy, Kathleen (Michael) Brondino, Maureen (Viktor) Hampel, Elizabeth Foy (Michael Morse). Dear grandfather of Elizabeth (Troy) Gustafson, Charlie Kimberly, Erin (Timothy) Pann, Joseph F. Foy III, James Foy, Daniel Foy, Matthew Hofmann, Marie Hofmann, Dr. Patrick Foy, Jr. (Kathryn), Edward (Angela) Foy, Anne (Todd) Huffman, Theresa Foy, Maureen Foy, Mary Joanne Foy, Colleen Foy, Christine (Luis) Corona, Peter Foy, Jr., Anastasia Brondino, Maria Brondino, Andrew Hampel, Katherine Hampel, Timothy Morse and Margaret Morse. Cherished great - grandfather of Grace Florence Foy, Patrick Foy III, Roland Joseph Foy, Lucille Pann, Declan Foy, Simon Pann, Mary Kathryn Foy, and Claire Foy. Fond brother of the late Edward P. (Alice) Foy, Sr., the late James Foy (Margaret Foy), and the late Mary Foy. Survived by sister-in-law, Margaret Gurren Foy and brother-in-law, Steve (Jan) Fisher, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Joe was a man of kindness and integrity. A devout Catholic, he was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Hales Corners for 48 years and the president of the first parish council. Professionally he was a foundry executive for many years and was President of Wehr Steel in Milwaukee. A devoted family man he met his wife in the first grade. At age 20 the parish priest cast them as husband and wife in a play and they married two years later. He served in the US military during WWII. He was most proud of what he considered his life work- his 11 children, his 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren in whom he instilled his strong moral values. A Funeral Mass was held on Thurs., Nov. 10, 10AM at ST. MARY'S PARISH, 9520 W. Forest Home with interment at St. Mary's Church Cemetery. The family wishes to convey tremendous gratitude to the caregivers from St. Camillus Home Care and Hospice who provided very dedicated care to Joe, Florence and the entire Foy Family.
