Passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at University of Michigan Hospital, age 70 years.
Neil was born in Saginaw, Michigan January 20, 1945 the son of the late Neil and Edith (Young) Brown. He was a 1963 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. He married Kathleen White August 22, 1970 and she survives him. Neil was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, serving in the United States Army. He was employed with United Parcel Service (UPS) for 30 years and enjoyed the many good friendships he formed while working in Chesaning. Neil loved playing golf almost as much as he loved his two grandchildren
In addition to his wife, Kathleen, Neil is survived by his two daughters, Molly Brown and Sara (Chad) Weiss; two grandchildren, Jack Neil Weiss and Anna Kathleen Weiss; a sister, Barb Reinig; a sister-in-law, Pat White; his niece, Marilyn (John) Miller and many great friends. In addition to his parents, Neil was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Merrill Reinig; his mother-in-law, Margaret White and a niece, Marsha Aldrich.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place Friday, October 16, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the Terry Hackett Camper Scholarship Fund through the YMCA or a charity of their choice.
