Gladys Irene Bowers, age 97 of Seneca, Missouri, entered into rest on July 9, 2017 in Joplin, Missouri. Gladys was born Aug. 14, 1919 in Goodland, Kansas, the daughter of Clement A. and Elizabeth (Ricketts) Robbins. She was a retired medical missionary. Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Bowers in addition to her parents. She is survived by three children, Loretta Moss of Seneca, Missouri; Lawrence ‘Larry’ C. Bowers of Monmouth, Illinois and Martha J. Nimmo of Seneca, Missouri and six grandchildren. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
