Charles T. Cash, 75 years of age, of Burnside, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, November 8th, 2016 in Sebring, Florida.

Charles was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 12th, 1941, son of the late Ernie Cash and the late Nellie Darnell Cash. Charles served in the United States Air Force as Military Police. He was also retired from the Lexington Fire Department. He was of the Nazareth faith. During his spare time he enjoyed boating and spending time with family and friends.

Charles was survived by his loving wife, Rita Cash; two sons, Chuck T. Cash of Shelbyville, Kentucky and Roger (and Cindy) Board of Liberty, Kentucky; one brother, Don (and Linda) Cash of Lorida, Florida; four grandchildren, Jacob (and Katie) Board, Christian Board, Chase Cash, and Ellie Cash; two nieces; one nephew and one special nephew, Mark (and Dawn) Cash of Shelbyville, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie Cash and Nellie Darnell Cash; and one brother, Paul Cash.

Visitations were held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Brother Darrell Bunch officiating.

16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
