Dee M. Martin, 96, of Brady passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 in Brady. She was born July 6, 1910 to Epheriam Curtis Rippy and Lusindia Addiline (Ferguson) Rippy. Dee was a graduate of Stoney High School. Dee married T. C. Martin on Dec. 23, 1923 in Stoney. She moved to Brady from Denton in 1993. Dee worked at Marjorie's Fabric Shop in Denton for 30 years, was a member of the Gateway Baptist Church in Denton, loved to travel, read and do handwork of all types. She was also known by many as "Mama Dee" or "Aunt DD".


She is survived by her daughter, Wilma Neal and husband Don of Brady; son, Wilford C. Martin, of Nyssa, OR; grandchildren, David Neal and wife Deborah or San Angelo, Donna McCloy and husband Bob of Turks Cacos Island, Connie Humphreys and husband Charlie of Brady, Gayla Pool and husband David of Plainview, and Chance Lovette of ID; great-grandchildren, Landon Neal, Leigh Ann Neal, Logan Neal, Carter Humphreys, Courtney Humphreys, Amy Pool and Jarod Pool; and four great great-grandchildren. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband T. C. Martin , daughter Patricia A. Martin Lovette, twin sister Bee Maureen Williams and older sister Opal Thomas.
