David Wayne Goff, 62, of Monticello, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa.

Funeral Service: 3:00 pm Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

David was born September 15, 1954, the son of D. Alfred and Joyce (Thomas) Goff, in Mt. Vernon, Indiana.

He served in the United States Army.

On September 4, 2004, he was married to Debbie Thomas at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.

David was a truck driver for thirty-five years, most recently working for Simons Trucking Inc. in Farley, IA.

More than anything, he was an avid NASCAR fan and Harley rider. David enjoyed many other hobbies including; reading, fishing and camping. He greatly loved spending time with his family and friends, and will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Goff; three sisters, Jane Harrington, Brenda Goff, Bev (Mark) Joslin; two step-children, Dan (Amanda) Thomas, Heather Thomas; two step-grandchildren, Logan Thomas, Scarlett Thomas; three nephews, Nick (Jessica) Clark, Josh (Arlene) Clark, Travis (Missy) Joslin; eight great-nieces and nephews; many cousins; and numerous friends and pets, Virginia Mae, Bodacious James, and Pollyanna.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; in-laws; and several other relatives.

Memorials may be directed to the family in memory of David.
