Robert "Boot" Allen Ashcraft, 70, of Kingston, passed away, Friday, July 7, 2017, at his home.

He was born Oct. 21, 1946, in Painesville, Ohio, to Arlen and Belle Ashcraft who preceded him in death. Robert honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. On June 19, 1966, he married his wife Joyce CubyKailo Ashcraft. Robert was employed as a truck driver for over 40 years. He enjoyed to work and only retired a few years prior to his passing. Robert was an avid poker player and enjoyed golfing with his sons.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce Ashcraft; along with three children, Robert and Trudy Ashcraft, Kingston, Tammy Wetherholt-Cellitti and Joe Cellitti, Jefferson, Ohio, and Shawn and Lindsey Ashcraft, Knoxville; 12 grandchildren, RJ Ashcraft, Jeremy and Morgan Ashcraft, Heather and Johnny Rogers, Morgan Wetherholt, Seth Wetherholt, Hayden Ashcraft, James Ashcraft, Thomas Ashcraft, Kaylee and Curtis Van Loocke, Kristi Cellitti, Katelyn Cellitti and Cassidy Burks; three great-grandchildren, Layce Rogers, Oliver Rogers and Lillianna Van Loocke; brother, Greg Ashcraft; many cousins, especially Judy Butcher, who he loved like his sister; nieces, Michelle Brock, who held a special place in his heart, and Jessica Ashcraft; and numerous other family and friends.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at New Midway Baptist Church, 240 New Midway Road, Kingston, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 11. The family will welcome friends before the service from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Robert's memory to , 404 BNA Drive, Suite 102, Nashville, TN 37217.
