David Wayne Parr left the struggles of this earth unexpectedly on July 2, 2017, after a week long battle with a serious infection. He is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and sharing his gift of song, contagious laughter and safety concerns with the angels.

David grew up in Pasadena, Texas, and entertained many throughout his life with his beautiful singing and guitar playing. He believed that many of the songs he wrote and performed during his lifetime strengthened his faith and drew him closer to his heavenly Father. He was happiest when surrounded by his family, close friends and his two loving pups. David is survived by his devoted wife, his daughter and pride and joy, his beloved mother, and his sister and brother-in-law.

A small, private memorial service was held at Niday Fairmont on July 8, 2017, where his songs were played in his memory. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed, until we meet again.
