Mrs. Mary M. White
Herkimer, Oct. 21.— Mrs. Mary M. White died Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosa Murch, in First avenue. She was a native of Newville, but had resided in Herkimer for several years, being the widow of James White, a veteran of the Civil War. 8he was 78 years old and is survived by the daughter named and by three other daughters, Mrs. Menzo Walts of Shoemaker Hill, Mrs. Byron McDaniels of Jordanville and Mrs. Ira Ashley of this village, and one son, Byron White. The funeral will be held to-morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late home, the Rev. Gideon L. Powell officiating, and Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
