Timothy R. Sparks, 55, of Minford, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. He was born February 15, 1962 in Portsmouth, to the late Delores (Brannon) Howard.
Tim was a self-employed Carpenter.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Sparks.
Tim is survived by his wife, Amber King Sparks, four children; Timothy R. Sparks II, Megan Sparks, Austin Sparks, and Landen Sparks, five grandchildren, and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Rev. Paul King officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
A visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
