Robert W. Lillyblade, 40, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, July 5, 1997, at his home. Services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at 10 a.m. at The Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family.

Robert was born Sept. 2, 1956, in Davenport, the son of Eugene and Alice Fruechtenicht Lillyblade. He was united in marriage to Terry Daily on July 30, 1977, in Davenport. He was employed with the maintenance department of the Davenport School District.

He was a member of the Bi-State Bass Club, where he was the fisherman of the year in 1992, taking first place. He also was a past president and current member of the Quad-Cities Bass Club, where in 1996 he took second place for Fisherman of the Year. He also was a member of the Twin Rivers Bass Club. He was a fisherman in the Redman Bass Tournament.

Survivors include his wife, Terry; a daughter, McKenzie; his mother, Alice Lillyblade; a brother, Richard Lillyblade; and a sister, Ruth Ann Wisham.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene, in 1973.
