Philip Duncan was born in Emporia, Kansas on September 14, 1938, the son of Thomas J. and Eva (Specht) Duncan. He married Daytha Williams at Emporia on September 4, 1965. She survives.
Surviving family members include his wife, of the home, his son; Jeff Duncan, and his wife, Graciela, of Wichita, Kansas, brothers; James Duncan, Topeka and Larry Duncan, Wichita, sisters; Alberta McFadden, Emporia, and Patricia Lackey, Highland, Kansas, and grandchildren; Stirling, Wichita, Kansas, Callum, Lawrence, Kansas, and Monty, Wichita, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Dennis
Philip was the accountant and office manager for Blacktop Construction, and later APAC Shears Construction for over 30 years, retiring 20 years ago. He was a graduate of Emporia State University with a degree in accounting. Mr. Duncan was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Cremation is planned. Private services will be held at a later date.
