Charles Thomas Montz, age 87, passed away on July 6, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Graveside service will be held today, July 9 , 2017, at 4 p.m. at Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery on Hale County Road # 29 on the Moundville route.Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Rocko Funeral Home Centerville directing. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. untill the service time at the church with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Odell Davis Montz; daughters Donna M. Tubbs (Terry), Debbie M. Johnson(Johnny) and Kim M. Martin (Patrick); grand-children, Michael Johnson(Savannah),Kayla Morlas (Micah), Jonathon Tubbs (Ashley), Bradley Carter, Alise Parker (Zack), J.T. Carter and Kaitlin Martin; and great- grandchildren, Logan Carter, Levi Johnson and Oliver Tubbs.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the cemetery fund for Liberty Methodist Church.
