She was born March 13, 1913 in Passport, IL, the daughter of James and Jennie Jenner Dewhirst. She married Joe Sunday January 7, 1940 in Enfield and he survives.
Mrs. Sunday was a retired beautician. She was a member of the Clay City Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge of Clay City and Eastern Star. She also loved the game of golf.
Survivors include her husband, Joe; two sons, Larry and Jim Sunday; two daughters, Sue Fee and Barbara Carlyle; one sister Wiona King; and ten grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were held at Hosselton Bookhout & Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City with burial in the Clay City Cemetery.
