Don Reece King
June 25, 1946 - July 05, 2017

Don Reece King, age 71, of Maurertown passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, Woodstock.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 11th at Lebanon Lutheran Church with Rev. J.D. Cutlip officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery.

Mr. King was born June 25, 1946 in Chattanooga, Tennessee the son of the late Alfred Maurice and Ellon Lavon Hanson King. He was a member of Lebanon Lutheran Church and was a retired Industrial Arts teacher having taught 29 years in Fairfax and 1 year in Frederick County. He was also a member of North Shenandoah Ruritan Club.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Lucy Mae Artz King; three sons, Jon Travis King and wife, Julie of Winchester, Edward Andrew King and wife, Jennifer of Red River, Oregon and Benjamin Reece King and wife, Deanna of Strasburg; five grandchildren, Jamie, Ryan, Jayden, Catherine and Adelynne King; two sisters, Sharon Schoonmaker of North Carolina and Anita Tatum, Montgomery, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha King.

Pallbearers will be members of North Shenandoah Ruritan Club. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Sunday School Class of Lebanon Lutheran Church.

The family will receive friends at Lebanon Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
