Alvia Ellen Miller was born Oct 19, 1891 in Indian Territory, the oldest of 11 children born to John Simon Miller and Lucy Ernest Bennett. John and Lucy had four daughters and seven sons. She married Jack A. Anderson Mar 3, 1910 in Garvin Co., OK. Together they had two children, a son and a daughter. Alvia died Oct 19, 1918 in Caddo, Stephens Co., TX at the age of 27.

In 1900 Alvia is in District 133, Township 2 North Range 4 East, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory with her parents, 4 of her siblings and one boarder. In 1910 Alvia is in Carr, Tillman Co., OK with her new husband, Jack A. Anderson (listed as John on the census).

After Alvia died, Jack left, remarried and had another family. Alvia's family raised her two children. They are found on several census' living with one of Alvia's sisters and Alvia's parents.

Alvia is my Great Aunt.
