Sacred to the memory of Peter Grant sometime of Demerara who died at Island Bank in the Parish of Inverness on the fifteenth day of June 1845 aged 51 and his wife Jessy Falconar Macdonald daughter of John Macdonald and Lydia Falconar who died at London on the twenty fifth June 1890 aged 85 years and the three sons of Peter and Jessy Falconar Grant John Macdonald Grant Alexander Charles Grant and Peter George Grant.
