Gloria Jean Adams, 64, resident of Lilbourn died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born October 21, 1948 in Parma, MO to the late Rev. Theodore and Bernice Walker Clark, Sr. She was a graduate of Lilbourn High School and was a member of Bethel AME Church in Sikeston where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She was employed by Golden Living Center in New Madrid where she retired after 23 years of service She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Taunya and Quincy Taylor of Lilbourn, six brothers, Theopolis Clark of Essex, Lee Clark of Kansas City, MO, Rev. Theodore Clark, Jr. of St. Louis, David Clark of Chicago , Ardean Clark of Montera, IN and Charles Clark of Leawood, KS, three sisters, Lorene McKeller of Essex, Linda Rostonof Lilbourn, and Margaree McGee of Chicago, two grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Friends may call Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 11:00 A. M until 1:00 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Howardville. Funeral services will be at 2:30 P. M. Sunday at the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn with Rev. Kirk Dunnavant officiating. Interment will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron.
