Joy A. Miller
age 49, of Richmond, passed away Sunday (July 2, 2017) at her home. She was born in Richmond, Indiana on December 10, 1967 to Bernard and Karen Harley Gray. Joy always had a way of making people laugh even if sometimes it was inappropriate. When she was physically able she would volunteer at Second Chance Animal Rescue. Joy had many hobbies including watching her favorite television shows and spending time with her family and friends. She loved rap music almost as much as she loved her grandkids, she enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Joy will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are children Latasha (Damon) Lemasters of Dallas, WV, Travis (Jessica) Lewis of Washington, PA, Melinda (Mark) Bussen of Richmond and Shelby Miller (Evan Lewis) of Richmond; parents Bernard and Karen Gray; brother Eric Gray; step children Jenny Schuerman, Sandie (Bert) Smith, Jamie Miller and Angie Chagdes; grandchildren Eric Lear, Kristal Lear, Jazlyn Lewis, Lakendra Lewis, Bradley Lewis, M'Kinze Bussen, Casey Chagdes, James Chagdes, Jesse Chagdes, Justina Gleaves, RaeAnn Luker, T.J. Smith, Johnathan Smith, Dillion Smith and Brittany Smith; 15 great grandchildren and several friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Miller (2015) and grandson Travis Lewis Jr.
Services for Joy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday (July 10, 2017) at Riggle Waltermann Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday (July 10, 2017) at the funeral home.
