He was a member of Shiloh EUB Church, a cement workers union, and a veteran of WWII, serving in the Air Force from September 1942 to February 1946.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Armeda (Morris) Barthlow; sons, Gregory and Roger, both at home; sisters and brothers: Mrs. Helen Darlington, Hagerstown; Mrs. LeRoy Cammer, John Clifford, Frank William and Oscar Cleveland Barthlow, all of Martinsburg; Grover Eugene Barthlow, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Mrs. Frank Palmieri, Philadelphia, Pa.; James Ray Barthlow and Mrs. Paul Gaither, Martinsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Servies were held at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel; burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
