Cathy L. Case, of Mount Morris, Michigan, age 53, loving mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Cathy's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, at O'Guinn Family Funeral Home, in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Cathy was born December 8, 1963, to the late Donald and Beverly Curtis Case. She earned her nursing degree from Saginaw Valley State University. She loved helping others and worked in home health care for many years as a registered nurse. She enjoyed buying antiques, shopping, treasure hunting, yard work and tending to her flowers. Cathy was an animal lover, especially to her dog, Shelly, and cat, Sheldon. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are: a son, Ryan Case, of Mount Morris; two sisters, Cindy (Rickey) Huffman and Pam Hiltz; three nephews, Nick (fiancée Jordan), Blake and Justin; a niece, Jenna; and a special brother-in-law, Darrel Hiltz.
