Robert Wayne “Buddy” Luther of Duncanville, Texas was born in Tyler, Texas to Floyd and Irene Luther. Buddy grew up in Fort Worth and Lancaster but lived most of his adult life in Duncanville, Texas. Buddy was a Mechanic and Welder by trade who took great pride in a job well done. He retired from Roadway Freight Lines in 1992 after 30 years of faithful service. He enjoyed building trailers, small engine repair, sports, motorcycles, music, tinkering in the garage and sitting on the back porch. Buddy is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 59 years Patsy, son Marty Luther and wife Tracy, daughters Debbie Smith and husband Gene, Sandy Guthrie and husband John; grandchildren Lance Luther and wife Hannah, Rustin Luther and Jennifer Jones, Cassie Manis, Blake Luther and wife Britni, Chelsea Atkins and husband Jonas, Zackery McMahon and Taylor Smith; great grandchildren Hailey Manis, Ayden Luther, Caleb Manis, Jordan Adkins, Audrey Atkins, Haven McMahon, Samuel McMahon, Matthew McMahon, Kellin Luther, Parker Luther, Maggie McMahon, Hattie Luther, Regan Talbot, Jacie Talbot and Evan Bellah. He is also survived by Sisters Joan Pace, Dorothy Elmore and husband Bobby, Brother Danny Ray Crowell and wife Linda, sister-in-laws Betty Hale, Clema Duke and husband Billy and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
