Born Dec. 17, 1937, in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Foch and Dixie McGinnis Blackburn. She was a retired teacher with the Lawrence County Bord of Education and of the Baptist faith.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vinson Bradley, in 1993 and a brother, Wallace Blackburn.
Survivors include two daughters, Pauletta Case and Charlotte Scaggs, both of Louisa; three sisters, Lucy Runion of Circleville, Ohio, Egie Blackburn of Louisa and Vernon Leah Dahle of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, John Dee of North Carolina and Malcolm of Louisa; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 13, at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial was in Yatesville Memorial Gardens, Louisa, under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
